randomly picked ruleset.

The goal in Rebels & Lords is to be the last one surviving.
To defeat your enemies, you must take over their castles by
attacking them with your own armies.

GAMEPLAY

At the beginning of the game, every Lord is given one castle.
The Rebels (black) are given up the rest. Each Lord takes a
turn commanding his troops. To move your troops, locate any
group of idle troops. (There are always idle troops in castles
that you own.)

Move the cursor with the arrow keeps to a location that
contains idle troops. Press the SPACE BAR to select them.
Then using the arrow keys, you can adjust the size of your
army. (Any unused troops remain idle.) After choosing the army
size, you then must command them where to go.

TERRAIN

The plain fields leave your troops open to attack, as anyone
can see them there. If you travel in woods, you can move
secretly. However, you risk the danger of getting ambushed!
The rocks that divide the map cannot be passed through. If
your troops hit them, they will stop moving!

ATTACKING

Whenever two troups belonging to different Lords meet there
will be a battle. This could either be two armies or an
army and a castle. If you defeat a castle, it becomes yours!
However, castles provide good defense - so make sure your
army is big enough!

 SINGLE PLAYER MODE
-------------------------------------------------------------

The rebels don't do anything, so playing by yourself is
quite boring!

-------------------------------------------------------------
 HOT SEAT MULTI PLAYER MODE
-------------------------------------------------------------

Select a New Game from the title screen and choose two or
more Lords. Each person should take turns controlling his
Lord. You should not watch your opponents move, that
takes the fun out of it!
